Addicaid is a social platform that provides addicts with unconventional treatment options, which include a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and other forms of therapy; and programs to hold them accountable.
One of my tasks as a UI/UX intern was to create a new concept and design for an Addicaid app icon.
Treatment and Affordable professional support
Based on the users' data, the app creates custom treatment plans and goals and matches them with other individuals and professionals for support. They get access to progress charts, journal prompts, and services that can help them find places for recovery meetings.
Users start the journey with a simple sign-up page and a small quiz to find the best help they need.
Groups and friends
It is important to stay social and get the necessary support while battling the addiction. Addicaid will find the right community for the users, where they can share their thoughts and feelings with the daily check-ins.
The series of questions will help the users to stay distracted from the cues, which are more commonly known as "triggers" Expecting triggers and planning to cope with them effectively is the best way to defend against addiction relapse.
